Dave`s Pizzeria & Family in Swartz Creek

I walked in about 15 minutes after making the order on my lunch break. The owner (Dave, obv) greeted me by name and handed me the pizza which was straight out of the oven. I asked for a side of marinara sauce when I made the order because I can’t stand a pizza with too little sauce; Dave made the pizza extra saucy and also had the side cup included. Not to mention everything tasted like it was made with premium fresh ingredients. My man knows pizza. Will be coming here for pizza day from now on.

Greatest pizza I've had in Tallahassee! I have no idea what type of cheese they use but I was eating it like it was water! This is probably the only place I would order just a cheese pizza from. Thank you Dave's!

I wanted to take a picture of it but it’s already gone. Your calzone was honestly one of the best ones I’ve ever had in my life, along with the pizza sauce. I just went and got the $8 compact calzone and dang was that a good deal. Definitely worth coming here to eat.

We used to go to this place pretty regularly. Something's changed over the last few months. The last time we went, took over an hour for one pizza and some wings. There are too many great pizza joint in Tally to settle for service this bad.

The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful. And in terms of owners, Dave is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet, full of smiles whenever you see him. Best pizza joint in Tallahassee, hands down.

One of the best pizza places in Tally! Staff is always so friendly, and of course, the pizza is great. The apps are also wonderful and I personally recommend the poutine. Don't miss out on this place!

By far the best pizza in Tallahassee!! We have tried all of the pizza parlors available in Tallahassee and nothing comes close. This is old school pizza...the kind you remember from childhood. Crispy and tasty crust , delicious toppings(the pepperoni is very very good) AND the owner himself comes out to make sure you are enjoying your meal . Very reasonable for a large pizza. We also had the "Spark Plugs" (almost tempura like fried cauliflower)...so good. No need to look anywhere else !!

Great staff. We order about once a week and had an issue with our order tonight; they do whatever they can to make it right.Pizza is awesome; My girlfriend has a garlic/onion/gluten allergy and has never had a problem eating the gluten free pizza here.

The wings were well done and delicious. Our salads were full of veggies and a nice blue cheese dressing. The veggie pizza had plenty of fresh veggies and lots of yummy cheese. Nice crust. I forgot to say no onions so I had to pick them off. My bad.

Best pizza in town in my opinion. Check this place out. Owner is always in house serving up some awesome pies and the staff does a great job too. Loyal customer since (2013?) at their original location and we'll always come back.

We’ve been to the northeast location twice and both times ordered the GTO pizza. Wonderfully fresh ingredients and the dough is heavenly. Would have given them 5 stars but they need to improve their selection of draft beers.

Decent food. I feel as if the prices are a tad high but the food was still very good. Skip the cheese fries, the cheese used hardens fairly quickly and makes getting fries difficult. The spaghetti was alright but definitely not the worst thing and I can see having it again. It's not listed but it came with two slizes of very good garlic bread. My best friend enjoyed his calzone very much. We did not get desert but it looks like there are some REALLY good options there. Definitely recommend a try.Overall a very good place to eat. Our visit was soured, not at the fault of the restaurant, but at the fault of two females with there out of control kids.

Some of the best wings in town! Calzones are exceptional also. I love that they have a great bar and a staff who cares. Dave and his team know how to do things right. They have done amazing things with the location and it is a great spot now. I highly recommend eating the way through the menu and bringing friends! It’s a wonderful addition to NE Tallahassee. Keep up the great eats, Dave!

I’m going to say the cheese is definitely fresh tasting and the staff is extremely nice. Unfortunately, I think the pizza needs a bit of tinkering. The pizza we ordered was simple and consisted of one large jalapeño and cheese, the other a mushroom, ricotta and onion. Too little sauce and not cooked nearly enough. The pizza dough is just okay. I’m not giving up and since it is a new location, I’ll try again in a month or so. I’ll update the rating then.

Only downside is how far away it is. Great calzones and pizza if you like it thicc

Really good pizza! They serve cup and char pepperoni, holy cow that’s hard to come by. The crust is really good and fluffy. My favorite pizza they have is their white pizza. The buffalo wings and honestly the cauliflower wings are both good. Bird wings were a tad dry but there’s sauce for that, the cauliflower was fried really well and the breading was good.

Being a Buffalo boy I always look forward to a taste of home at Dave's. Buffalo style pizzas crust is a perfect mix of NYC thin and Chicago thick. Dough is made fresh everyday and topped with a perfect savory sauce. If you like pepperoni, you'll love the tiny thick pepperoni that Dave uses. The wings are a good size and always fried crispy.

We love Dave’s! It is the most child friendly restaurant in Tallahassee. Inside there are toys to entertain kiddos, kids shows on the TV and coloring pages. Every Wednesday they do story time with crafts. Outside is a nice patio area that can easily be blocked off for a wandering toddler. Despite being kid friendly the food is amazing. Really fresh salads, pizza with high quality toppings and the best wings I’ve ever eaten! Service so friendly and fast. The owner is very friendly and wants to be sure each customer has a top notch experience. If you haven’t been here definitely add it to your list, it will quickly become a family favorite.

Had the meaty pizza with olive oil based sauce. Crust was crunchy throughout. Not too thin or thick. Great taste! Employees were very nice and stayed open after hours to accommodate us since we were from our of town.

4$ to 4.75$ for a draft beer. Mine was warm and Flat. Ordered the Cheese steak sandwich- didn’t like it either. I won’t b coming back. First time here. It is NOT RUMMYS. Seems a little expensive for what is offered. Very Limited menu. Mainly pizza and a couple sandwiches a couple salads. No Happy Hour either according to waitress. On a good note, staff was friendly. Outside area needs cleaning also.

I love this place. The food, the decor, the service. It's truly enjoyable. It's a good spot for a date, to have a family night with the kids, or to order from when you don't want to change your PJs.

Everything is delicious! I've had their salads, calzones and wings and all are excellent. They have the best salad in Tallahassee and everything is fresh. They have lunch specials and a great casual environment. Prices are reasonable and it isn't super crowded. I highly recommend it. My friends and family enjoy the pizza, sandwiches, fries and pasta too so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

i drive 20 minutes each way just for dave’s pizza. no where compares to how doughy and delicious his pizza is! the lugnuts are also so delicious! i love seeing his family around because it reminds you that it’s a small locally owned family restaurant. wish you years and years of success!!

We just moved to this side of town and decided we wanted to check this place out for the first time. It was hard to choose what we wanted because everything on the menu looked pretty good. We ordered the GTO and are definitely happy with our choice because it’s delicious! I had a short conversation with the owner who was very friendly. I mentioned liking his shirt and he was nice enough to go to the back and give one to me and my fiancé. We will definitely be coming back soon! Thanks for the food and shirts.... and GO BILLS!

Dave's is an absolute winner. Had it today for the first time as a catered office lunch. Why haven't I been here before? 20 years in Tally and this is the best pizza I've had. The pizzas are loaded with toppings. No skimping on ingredients here. Though it is a pizza shop the wings and tenders were super good. The cheesy breadstick nubbies were something new and I highly recommend. I'll be back. Such great food.

Food was tasty but it came out all wrong. One person was served 30 minutes before the rest. We had to box up the later meal and take it home.

Great pizza!! I LOVEthis pizza and I had it a day later back in Buffalo and it was still delicious!! I have purchased Dave's wing sauce many times. I actually use it every time I make my chicken fajitas and quesadillas. When I tell my family I am making chicken fajitas with my secret sauce and they couldn't be happier and absolutely love it.I highly recommend Dave's Pizza Garage!

I really wish I could put zero stars, because I would've. First time I ate at this place was over a year a ago, we took some pepperoni egg rolls to go and a pizza. The rolls had quite a bit of pepperoni and were amazing, pizza was a good pizza and we enjoyed our purchase. With that being said, we ordered 2 pizza pies and some egg rolls. Out of the 4 egg rolls we got only one had pepperoni in it., so it was just a big egg roll with cheese. Both pies we under cooked dough wasn't fully cooked and we couldn't even finish them. If we lived closer and not 45 mins away I would've returned it and got my money back.I don't know why things have gone so totally down hill here, but with food like this I won't bdown the drain! e returning, and we spent $80 this trip.

Worst customer service ever. Waited 10 minutes past their opening time outside while the two kids apparently running the place walked around inside looking at us. No apology, just surly looks and a no-care attitude. Left to never come back- to many pizza places around to put up with these fools.
